Vic is a licensed general contractor and accomplished construction executive with more than 30 years of experience leading complex projects across the commercial, hospitality, residential, mixed-use, and adaptive reuse sectors. His extensive portfolio includes multifamily developments, ground-up hotels, major hotel renovations, luxury residential estates, and large-scale mixed-use projects completed in multiple states. What sets Vic apart is his ability to combine technical expertise, strong design sensibility, and meticulous attention to detail. He approaches every project holistically—balancing constructability, structural integrity, operational efficiency, and visual excellence. This passion for integrating construction and design led him to found V. Salem Development in 1995. Today, he remains actively involved in every project the company undertakes, ensuring each one meets the highest standards of craftsmanship, functionality, and aesthetics. Vic brings a rare blend of executive leadership, engineering discipline, and commercial real estate insight, allowing projects to be strategically evaluated for feasibility, return on investment, constructability, and long-term asset value before construction begins. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Saint Louis University and a Master’s in Operations Management from Wake Forest University. His leadership, business acumen, and forward-thinking approach have guided V.
